On Saturday, April 12th, I hopped into the Easter holidays with a burst of colour, creativity, and community spirit at our Mummy & Me Painting Class in Inch Community Centre — and what a joyful morning it was! 💛
With paintbrushes in hand and Easter excitement in the air, local parents, grandparents, and their little ones joined me for a guided painting experience to remember. The aim? To create adorable side-by-side hare-themed artworks — one for the grown-up and one for the child — that come together as one perfect Easter masterpiece to proudly hang at home.
The children brought their bright imaginations, and the adults matched them with enthusiasm. Together we created colourful ombré skies, whimsical Easter hares, and some truly beautiful memories. It was heartwarming to see families bonding over paint, laughter, and the occasional chocolate egg (because no Easter celebration is complete without a little treat, right? 🍫🐣).
This event was sponsored by Inch Community Council, who provided us with the wonderful space at Inch Community Centre. A huge thank you to them for making it all possible — and for supporting local arts and creativity in our community.
I’d also like to extend a big, warm THANK YOU to all the families who came along. Your creativity, kindness, and infectious energy made the morning feel truly magical. Your hares are hopping straight into our hearts!
I'm all about making art accessible, meaningful, and fun — especially when it brings families together. If you want to check out some more content and view some more of the artworks created, check out my Instagram Reel below:
Until next time, keep painting, keep playing, and keep celebrating the little things 💕
With love,
Hannah
